NAME

nmzmail - fast mail searching for mutt

SYNOPSIS

[-b base ] [-r result ] [-n limit ] [-h ] [-i ] [maildirs ]

DESCRIPTION

is a tool to use the namazu2 search engine (http://www.namazu.org) from within mutt (http://www.mutt.org) to search mail stored in maildir folders. Based on the result of the namazu query, generates a maildir folder containing symbolic links to the mails matching the query. A mutt macro makes easy to use nmzmail from within mutt.

The options are as follows:

-b
Base directory for index and result files. Default is $HOME/.nmzmail
-r
Result directory. Default is <base>/result.
-h
Show short help text.
-i
Index specified maildirs. Maildirs don't need to be specified separately. It is enough to pass a common parent directory.

EXIT STATUS

Ex -std

EXAMPLES

The command:
"nmzmail -i ~/Mail"

creates an index for all mails stored in maildirs under ~/Mail.
