roxterm - terminal emulator

roxterm [-? | --help] [--usage] [--geometry=GEOM] [--appdir=DIR] [--profile=PROFILE | -p PROFILE] [--colour_scheme=SCHEME | -c SCHEME] [--shortcut_scheme=SCHEME | -s SCHEME] [--separate] [--replace] [--directory=DIR | -d DIR] [--show-menubar] [--hide-menubar] [--execute COMMAND | -e COMMAND]

DESCRIPTION

This manual page documents briefly the roxterm command.

This manual page was written for the Debian distribution because the original program does not have a manual page.

roxterm is a terminal emulator.

OPTIONS

These programs follow the usual GNU command line syntax, with long options starting with two dashes (`-'). A summary of options is included below.

-? --help

Show description of options.

--usage

Show summary of usage.

-e --execute

Execute remainder of command line inside the terminal. Must be final option.

-d DIRECTORY --directory=DIRECTORY

Run shell/command in DIRECTORY.

--geometry=GEOMETRY

Set size and/or position of terminal according to X geometry specification.

--appdir=DIR

Application directory when run as a ROX app.

--show-menubar --hide-menubar

Whether to show or hide the menubar, overriding the profile. The default is to show it.

-p PROFILE --profile=PROFILE

Use the named profile.

-c SCHEME --colour_scheme=SCHEME

Use the named colour scheme.

-s SCHEME --shortcut_scheme=SCHEME

Use the named keyboard shortcut (accelerator) scheme.

--separate

Use a separate process for this terminal.

--replace

Replace any existing instance as ROXTerm D-BUS service provider.
