NAME

ufiformat - format disks on a USB floppy drive

SYNOPSIS

ufiformat [options] [device]

DESCRIPTION

ufiformat is a command-line utility for formatting floppy disks using a UFI-compliant USB floppy drive.

OPTIONS

These options follow the usual GNU command line syntax, with long options starting with two dashes (`-').

-f [size], --format [size]
Specifies the capacity to use when formatting the disk. Without this option, the current capacity will be used. Use -i to determine which capacities are supported.
-F, --force
Do not perform safety checks when formatting.
-i, --inquire
Show device information, instead of performing format. If the device is not specified, all USB floppy disk devices will be listed.
-v, --verbose
Show detailed output.
-q, --quiet
Suppress minor output.
-h, --help
Show summary of options.
