NAME
ufiformat - format disks on a USB floppy driveSYNOPSIS
ufiformat [options] [device]
DESCRIPTION
ufiformat is a command-line utility for formatting floppy disks using a UFI-compliant USB floppy drive.
OPTIONS
These options follow the usual GNU command line syntax, with long options starting with two dashes (`-').
- -f [size], --format [size]
- Specifies the capacity to use when formatting the disk. Without this option, the current capacity will be used. Use -i to determine which capacities are supported.
- -F, --force
- Do not perform safety checks when formatting.
- -i, --inquire
- Show device information, instead of performing format. If the device is not specified, all USB floppy disk devices will be listed.
- -v, --verbose
- Show detailed output.
- -q, --quiet
- Suppress minor output.
- -h, --help
- Show summary of options.
