NAME

getaudit getaudit_addr - Retrieve audit session state

SYNOPSIS

In bsm/audit.h Ft int Fn getaudit auditinfo_t *auditinfo Ft int Fn getaudit_addr auditinfo_addr_t *auditinfo_addr u_int length

DESCRIPTION

Fn getaudit retrieves the active audit session state for the current process via the Vt auditinfo_t pointed to by auditinfo Fn getaudit_addr retrieves extended state via auditinfo_addr and length

This system call requires appropriate privilege to complete.

RETURN VALUES

returns 0 on success, or returns -1 on failure, providing additional error information via errno
