NAME

pidof -- 현재 실행중인 풀그림의 프로세스 ID를 찾는다.

SYNOPSIS

pidof [-s] [-x] [-o omitpid] [-o omitpid..] program [program..]

DESCRIPTION

Pidof 명령은 program의 프로세스 ID를 찾는다. 이것은 그 찾은 ID를 표준 출력으로 보낸다. 이 풀그림은 runlevel을 바꾸는 스크립트에서 전형적으로 사용된다. 이 스크립트는 /etc/rc.d 경로 아에 있다.

OPTIONS

-s
지정한 program의 pid가 여러개 있을 경우 하나만 보여준다.
-x
스크립트와 함께 실행 중인 program이면 그 쉘의 id도 함께 보여준다.
-o
Tells pidof to omit processes with that process id. The special pid %PPID can be used to name the parent process of the pidof program, in other words the calling shell or shell script.

NOTES

pidof 풀그림은 /sbin/killall5 파일의 단순한 심블릭 링크 파일이다.
