ecryptfs-mount-private - eCryptfs private mount wrapper script.

SYNOPSIS

ecryptfs-mount-private

DESCRIPTION

ecryptfs-mount-private is a wrapper script for the mount.ecryptfs_private utility. It only mounts if ~/.ecryptfs/auto-mount exists, and it ensures that ~/.Private has 500 permissions, and that ~/Private has 700 permissions.

FILES

~/.ecryptfs/auto-mount - ecryptfs-mount-private will only execute if this file exists

~/.Private - underlying directory containing encrypted data

~/Private - mountpoint containing decrypted data (when mounted)

~/.ecryptfs/Private.sig - file containing signature of mountpoint passphrase
