NAME

IO::reopen - Re-open a file.

SYNOPSIS

File reopen( String fname, [FileMode] mode, File f )

ARGUMENTS

fname The file name

mode A list of file modes

f The existing file handle

DESCRIPTION

Re-open a file. This functions exactly like IO.open(3kaya) except that rather than opening a new file, it changes an existing file handle. This is mainly useful for re-opening the standard input, output and error streams on a different file.

 in = reopen("inputscript",[Read],stdin);
