rpmgetlist - create or print a rpmlist file

SYNOPSIS

rpmgetlist [-a] [rpm|rpmlist]

DESCRIPTION

rpmgetlist creates the rpmlist of a rpm and prints it to stdout. The default output format is a compact binary format, use the -a switch to create a human readable form.

The input can itself be a rpmlist file, you can use this together with the -a option to translate the binary format to ascii.

Note that makepatchrpm(8) only understands the binary format.
