NAME

       cancel - cancel print jobs

SYNOPSIS

/usr/bin/cancel [ request-id  ...] [ destination  ...]

/usr/bin/cancel [-u user ] [ destination  ...]

DESCRIPTION

The cancel utility removes print requests from the print queue.

Users can only remove print requests the back-end print service authorizes. In most cases, this will be limitted to the user that submitted the print request.

OPTIONS

The following options are recognized by cancel :
-u
user
The name of the user who's jobs to cancel on the destination(s).
request-id

the destination-(job-id) of a print job
destination

a print queue.
