NAME

getsoundset - read current SoundSet configuration

SYNOPSIS

getsoundset [ <soundset file> ]

DESCRIPTION

getsoundset is part of the WSoundTools for Window Maker that dumps the current event related sound configuration to either a file or standard output.

The application outputs a list in PropList format of the following options: AppStart, AppExit, Maximize, UnMaximize, Iconify, DeIconify, Hide, UnHide, Shade, UnShade, Dock, UnDock, Kaboom, Startup, Shutdown.

If you store the outputted info in a file, you can use that file as a SoundSet which can be loaded again by the setsounds utility or by an external application like WSoundPrefs.

ENVIRONMENT
