lou_translate - translate text into braille

SYNOPSIS

lou_translate -f|-b tablename

DESCRIPTION

lou_translate translates whatever is on the standard input unit and prints it on the standard output unit. It is intended for large-scale testing of the accuracy of translation and back-translation.

OPTIONS

The following options are supported:

-f
forward translation
-b
backward translation

EXAMPLE

To use it to translate or back-translate a file use a line like lou_translate -f en-us-g2.ctb <liblouis.txt >testtrans
