       lpstat - query the print service

SYNOPSIS

/usr/bin/lpstat [-d] [-r] [-t] [-s] [-a [ list ]] [-c [ destination ]] [-o list ] [-l]] [-R [ list ] [-l]] [-p [ list ] [-D] [-l]] [-v [ list ]]

DESCRIPTION

lpstat displays information about the current status of the print service.

OPTIONS

The following options are recognized by lp :
-d

print the default destination for output requests.
-r

prints the status of the print service.
-R [list] [-l]

print job information with ranking. -l causes more verbose output.
-o [list] [-l]

print job information. -l causes more verbose output.
-p [list] [-D] [-l]

print destination information. -D causes a description to print also. -l causes more verbose output.
-v [list]
print device information for print queues.
