NAME

releaseforge - alternative to the SourceForge File Release System (FRS)

SYNOPSIS

releaseforge [options]

DESCRIPTION

This manual page documents briefly the releaseforge command.

releaseforge is an open source utility designed for the administrators and release engineers of SourceForge projects. ReleaseForge allows you to easily create new SourceForge project releases and edit existing releases in a quicker and friendlier manner than the usual SourceForge web interface.

OPTIONS

This program follows the usual GNU command line syntax, with long options starting with two dashes (`-'). A summary of options is included below.
-h, --help
Show summary of options.
-d <directory>, --data=<directory>
Specify the location of the ReleaseForge data directory (defaults to $HOME/.releaseforge)
-a, --auto
Attempt to automatically login to SourceForge and Freshmeat
-n, --noauto
Do not attempt to automatically login to SourceForge and Freshmeat
--debug
Display debug information on console
-v, --verbose
Display informational messages on console
