NAME

tapeconv - Sinclair ZX Spectrum tape file convertor

SYNOPSIS

tapeconv [-i format] [-o format] tapefile

DESCRIPTION

Tapeconv converts between ZX Spectrum tape images. It reads in one tape file and writes the converted file to standard output.

OPTIONS

-i format
specifies the format of the input tape file. Generally, this will be autodetcted but you can use `tzx' or `tap' to force .tzx or .tap format respectively.
-o format
specifies the format of the output tape file in the same way as the -i option. This will default to .tzx format if it is not specified. Note that .tap format is a subset of .tzx format, and hence the conversion may not succeed. Warning messages will be given in this case.
tapefile
specifies a tape file (in a format supported by libspectrum(3)) to be converted.

BUGS
