v2strip - remove ID3v2 tags from MP3 files

SYNOPSIS

v2strip filename [ filename ] .SH "DESCRIPTION" This little utility removes ID3v2 tags from MP3 files. The new ID3v2 tag format is nice in many ways, but it can cause confusion when parsed by certain MP3 players/utilities not yet supporting ID3v2 tags.

Invoking the program without any parameters will print a short help on usage.
