NAME

emile-set-cmdline --- sets the kernel command line for the emile bootloader
 

SYNOPSIS

emile-set-cmdline [image] [cmdline]

emile-set-cmdline [-r] [image]

DESCRIPTION

emile-set-cmdline sets the kernel command line to cmdline for a emile bootloader disk image, floppy disk device (/dev/fd0), or the second level file. Executing with "-r" flag, displays the current command line.
 

OPTIONS

-h --help
Show summary of options.
-r
Display current kernel command line.

EXAMPLES

To set root filesystem on disk 1 partition 4:
 

emile-set-cmdline floppy.img "root=/dev/sda4"
 

To set root filesystem on ramdisk:
 

emile-set-cmdline floppy.img "root=/dev/ramdisk ramdisk_size=2048"
 

To set root filesystem on NFS:
 

emile-set-cmdline floppy.img "root=/dev/nfs ip=dhcp nfsroot=192.168.100.1:/tftboot/192.168.100.51"
