NAME

tz-brasil - adjust time zone information to Brazil.

SYNOPSIS

tz-brasil [ --force | --test | --verbose | --allowed | --refresh | --help | --info ]

DESCRIPTION

This program contacts a server, gets the timezone information for Brazil and aplies it to the timezone.

OPTIONS

This program is suposed to be run without arguments from cron. There are some options available for debugging.
--verbose
same as setting VERBOSE=2 in config file.
--test
same as --verbose.
--force
same as setting VERBOSE=2 in config file. Also removes fetch timestamp, forcing a new fetch.
--allowed
list allowed timezones and exit.
--help
shows a brief usage help and exit.
--refresh
syncronize /usr/share/zoneinfo/(yourzone) with /etc/localtime and exit.
--version
shows program version and exit.
--info
shows timestamp information and exit.

FILES

/etc/tz-brasil.conf - configuration file.
/var/lib/tz-brasil/info - last timezone information retrieved.
/etc/cron.d/tz-brasil - cron configuration.
/usr/share/doc/tz-brasil/timezone.txt - read that :-)
